Motorola_BackflipMotorola’s Backflip will be the first Android phone to be featured in AT&T. According to the company, it plans to showcase five Android phones this year including some from companies such as HTC, Dell and of course, Motorola.

Called the Backflip because of its ability to be flipped at the back, this smartphone has a 3.1-inch touchscreen display and 5-megapixel camera with flash. It also has a 1-inch touch-sensitive swatch on the back of the phone that can swipe and double-tap like an iPhone. According to some reports, the Backflip will run MotoBlur—the Motorola-designed skin that was introduced to us through the Cliq last year.

This device will also have social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, e-mail contacts and an address book. MotoBlur also offers services like free phone backup online and a find-my-phone service.

You can expect the Motorola Backflip on March 7 for $100 with a two-year contract and a $100 mail-in rebate with AT&T.
