dellmini5_1The first time I saw this Mini 5 tablet from Dell, I surely thought it was the Apple’s much-talked-about iPad. But at closer look, you would begin to see the difference, though my confidence on this Dell tablet grew high as I saw the specifications.

This device has a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera on the back, separate front-facing camera that can be used for video conferencing, standard 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi connectivity, 3G ability and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor.

The Mini 5 will run on Android 2.0 or even higher, and it will support a 16:9 ratio.

According to the company, they are also planning to release a new line of different-sized tablets. This Mini 5, however, will retail slightly along the price range of the Apple iPad, which sells between $500 to $830.
